You don’t want to go to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg and not be able to visit any of the attractions or see any of the shows. On the other hand, they can cost a lot of money and even visiting a couple of them can make a hole in your wallet. This is particularly true if you are visiting with your family and have to buy more than one ticket to each attraction.

So how can you find discount tickets to some of Pigeon Forge’s most popular attractions?

1. Check with your hotel. Oftentimes, hotels will get discount tickets to attractions like the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood. You might even see these discounts advertised on their signs out front, hoping to lure people into staying there. Although some might only offer a few dollars off, others might have “buy one, get one free” tickets that can definitely save a lot of money.

2. Pick up a coupon book. There are at least 2 or 3 good coupon books floating around the area. These can be found in your hotel lobby and in a lot of the restaurants. A recent search found a couple of dollars off the Aquarium, Dixie Stampede, Star Cars Museum, Wonderworks, mini-golf, and go-carts. While saving a few dollars might not sound like much, if you are seeing more than one attraction those few bucks can add up.

3. Do a combo. Some attractions offer combination tickets. Visiting the Aquarium, for instance, and purchasing a combo ticket to some of their attractions like the Ripley’s believe it or Not Museum and mini golf course, can save you as much as $50 overall.

4. Visit a coupon website. There are also some coupons available for downloading and printing off of some of the tourist pages for Pigeon Forge. The coupons are generally the same ones that can be found in the same free coupon booklets that you can find once you get to Pigeon Forge, but you could get lucky and find an amazing deal. It can also help you plan your trip better since you will have your coupons in hand before you leave for your destination.

5. Go with a local. If you work in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area, or know someone who does, keep in mind that many of the attractions will let you in for free if you present a local ID or a recent paystub. Even some of the bigger attractions, like Dollywood, have “Sevier County Days” where locals can get in for free.

By using coupons, checking with your hotel for discounts, and doing a combo ticket, you can definitely save money on Pigeon Forge attractions. Even the biggest ones usually offer some sort of discount. While they might not seem like much at first, even saving $15 overall on the attractions can help in the long run. After all, that’s the price of a breakfast at one of the pancake houses!
