Queens Day Amsterdam on a Discount

Forget the Rijks Museum or the Van Gogh museum, you’ve probably already seen them and although they are certainly worth a visit if you haven’t, the event of the year in Amsterdam is coming up on the 30th April. The tradition started in 1949 when Queen Juliana became Queen of the Netherlands but the event is still held on this day every year possibly because the birthday of the current Queen Beatrice falls in January when it is considerably colder! Play golf with the locals at a Discount

We want to get away, take in a change of scene and mix with different people from the ones we see every day at work. Sometimes we can plan ahead to get the cheap fares but when it all gets too much and we just want to escape we need to look for travel discounts. But some of us have problems deciding what sort of holiday to take. You want to go shopping and your husband wants to play golf but how can we do both?
